TURKEY CHEDDAR SANDWICHES WITH HONEY MUSTARD



Turkey Cheddar Sandwiches with Honey Mustard image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon coarse-grained mustard
1 plum tomato
4 slices 7-grain or whole-grain bread
3 ounces coarsely grated sharp Cheddar (about 3/4 cup)
1/4 pound sliced turkey breast
4 small radicchio leaves

Steps:

  • Preheat broiler.
  • In a small bowl stir together honey and mustard. Slice tomato lengthwise. Arrange bread on a baking sheet and toast under broiler until golden on one side. Turn bread over and spread honey mustard on untoasted sides. Sprinkle Cheddar over honey mustard and broil until cheese is melted. Arrange tomato, turkey, and radicchio between melted Cheddar toasts, seasoning with salt and pepper.

1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano leaves or 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 to 1/ teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
1 teaspoon water
1 pound turkey breast slices, cut into 4 serving pieces
4 whole-grain sandwich buns, split
8 thin slices tomato
Leaf lettuce

Steps:

  • Mix mustard, honey, oregano, garlic powder, red pepper and water; brush on turkey.
  • Heat coals or gas grill.
  • Cover and grill turkey 4 to 6 inches from medium coals 8 to 10 minutes, brushing with mustard mixture and turning occasionally, until juice is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut. Discard any remaining mustard mixture. Serve turkey on buns with tomato and lettuce.

1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon curry powder
Pinch cayenne pepper
1 package (17.6 ounces) turkey breast cutlets
6 onion or kaiser rolls, split
Lettuce leaves

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, combine the first five ingredients. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture is combined. Cool slightly; set aside 1/4 cup. Pour remaining mixture into a large resealable plastic bag; add turkey. Seal bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. , Drain and discard marinade. Grill turkey for 4 minutes on each side or until no longer pink. Spread cut sides of rolls with reserved honey mixture. Add lettuce and turkey.

3 tablespoons seedless strawberry jam
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
8 ounces sliced oven roasted turkey breast

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Place bagels on an ungreased baking sheet, cut side up; spread with pesto. Bake until lightly toasted, 5-8 minutes., In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine jam and mustard.
