- Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse 5 times for chunky salsa or up to 10 times for restaurant style.
- Makes about 5 1/2 cups.
- Keep refrigerated.

- Combine the romaine, tomatoes, cucumber and onions in a large bowl.
- Whisk the olive oil, vinegar, sour cream, oregano and garlic in a small bowl to make the vinaigrette.
- Pour the vinaigrette over the salad, season with salt and pepper and toss to combine. Serve with more freshly cracked black pepper over the top.
SALSA SALAD
Chunks of avocado, tomato, red and green peppers, and plenty of cilantro give flavor to this refreshing and colorful salad, and jalapeno peppers give it a hint of heat. Dressing is just a simple squeeze of lime juice.

- In a large salad bowl, lightly mix the tomatoes, cilantro, green and red bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, green onions, and sweet red onion until thoroughly combined. Gently toss with avocado pieces, and squeeze lime juice over the salad. Sprinkle with salt to serve.

I found this recipe in a magazine in the spring of this year. I have brought to every party/family picnic I've been to this summer and it's been a real hit. Lots of people have asked for the recipe. It's also great for vegetarians!

MOMS SALAD SALSA
You can add additional ingredients like cilantro, jalapeno diced, red onion, also I like adding 1 lime juice to mix. enjoy with tortilla chips, pita chips, on salad, chicken, ect. Great over pasta

- add about 1/2 contain italian dressing I prefer zesty italian and use 1/3. Add salsa.
