1 cup Dark brown sugar / cassonade foncée
1 cup Margarine / margarine
2 Eggs
0.5 tsp Almond extract / extrait d'amande
3 cups Large-flake oats / gros flocons d'avoine
1.25 cups All-purpose flour / farine tout usage
0.5 cup Sweetened flaked coconut / flocons de noix de coco sucrée
1 tsp Baking soda / bicarbonate de soude

  • Position rack in centre of oven, then preheat to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment. ##Beat sugar and margarine in a large bowl with an electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs and almond extract and beat well. ##Combine oats, flour, coconut and baking soda in a medium bowl. Add to margarine mixture and stir well to combine. ##Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared sheet. ##Bake until light golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool on sheet for 2 minutes, then remove to a rack to cool completely. Store tightly covered.

  • Bring sugar, butter, and milk to a boil in saucepan, stirring occasionally; remove immediately from heat and stir into oat mixture.

1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup raisins (optional)

  • preheat oven to 350 degrees with mixer combine Crisco and sugars until fluffy add the next 6 ingredients until well combined then gently fold in the oats, nuts, and raisins. on a greased cookie sheet drop a generous tablespoon size ball of dough. bake for 12 - 15 minutes allow to cool on tray before removing to rack

1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup chopped pecans or 1/2 cup walnuts
