1 pint blackberries
1/4 cup black currant liqueur (recommended: Creme de Cassis)
1 bottle Prosecco or cava, chilled

Steps:

  • Puree berries in a blender or food processor with 1/4 cup black currant liqueur. Pour pureed berries through a fine mesh sieve placed over a container with pourable spout. Fill champagne glasses about 1/4 full with the puree and top with the sparkling wine of your choice. A la votre!!!!

Don't overdo the framboise, otherwise the drink will be syrupy. The drink should be fairly translucent.

o 1-1/2 ounces framboise
o 10 -1/2 ounces sparkling wine
