4 cups lettuce, chopped
1 cup tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
4 1/2 ounces sliced ripe olives, drained
15 1/2 ounces dark red kidney beans, drained
1 cup mild cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup salsa ranch dressing or 1 cup salsa, garden dressing
1 cup tortilla chips, crushed

Steps:

  • Layer lettuce, tomato, onions, olives, beans, cheese, and dressing in a 3-quart bowl.
  • Refrigerate.
  • Top with crushed tortilla chips and toss lightly just before serving.

1 cucumber, peeled and chopped, or more to taste
3 cups frozen peas, thawed
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
4 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and sliced
1 cup creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip®)
½ cup white sugar
2 tablespoons white vinegar
12 ounces cooked crumbled bacon

Steps:

  • Layer lettuce, cucumber, peas, Cheddar cheese, and egg, respectively, in a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • Whisk creamy salad dressing, sugar, and vinegar together in a bowl until dressing is smooth; spread over the egg layer. Crumble bacon over dressing layer.

4 cups torn romaine
1 medium red onion, thinly sliced, optional
1 large cucumber, halved and sliced
3 medium tomatoes, chopped
2 medium ripe avocados, sliced or cut into 1/2-in. chunks
1 each large green and sweet red pepper, chopped or sliced
1-1/2 cups mayonnaise
1/4 cup canned chopped green chiles
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup crushed tortilla chips
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • In a 2-qt. trifle bowl or glass serving bowl, layer fresh vegetables and avocado. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, chiles and seasonings; spread over top. Sprinkle with chips and cheese.

This is a great, easy recipe people love. Our family has made it for gatherings for as long as I can remember. Refried beans are layered with guacamole, a seasoned sour cream mixture, cheese and vegetables. Serve it with tortilla chips. Enjoy!

1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 cup guacamole
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tomato, chopped
¼ cup chopped green onions
¼ cup black olives, drained

Steps:

  • In a large serving dish, spread the refried beans. Layer the guacamole on top of the beans.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sour cream and taco seasoning mix. Spread over the layer of guacamole.
  • Sprinkle a layer of Cheddar cheese over the mayonnaise mixture layer. Sprinkle tomato, green onions and black olives over the cheese.

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon lime zest
1 tablespoon lime juice
2 teaspoons chipotle chiles in adobo, mashed (mexican food Isle)
1 (10 ounce) package DOLE Hearts of Romaine (divided)
1 (15 ounce) can corn kernels
1 cup chopped tomato
1 cup avocado, diced
1 cup orange bell pepper, diced
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained & rinsed
1 cup red onion, finely chopped
1 cup monterey jack pepper cheese, diced
1 cup coarsely crushed tortilla chips

Steps:

  • Whisk together dressing ingredients (1st 5) let set for 10 minute.
  • In deep 10 cup clear bowl, layer half the lettuce. Top with corn,tomato,avocado, bell pepper, beans, red onion, remaining lettuce, and cheese. Spread out so layers show on outside of dish.
  • Spread dressing on top covering the cheese completely.
  • Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
  • Sprinkle with Chips just before serving.
