Saw this being made on television show. It looked so quick and easy...not too mention delcious! A great one for kids to make! Milky ways can be substituted with the mars bars. This slice can be frozen also.

240 g Mars bars, roughly chopped
30 g butter
2 cups rice bubbles
1 cup mini marshmallows
candy sprinkles, to decorate

Steps:

  • Line a 20cm square cake tin with baking paper.
  • Place the Mars bars and butter in a small saucepan and melt over low heat, stirring constantly.
  • Combine the rice bubbles and marshmallows in a large bowl then add the melted chocolate mix. Stir quickly to coat the dry ingredients with the chocolate but don't over-mix as the marshmallows will melt slightly due to the heat of the chocolate.
  • Spread mixture over the base of the cake tin then scatter coloured sprinkles over the top.
  • Place in the fridge to set.
  • When set, cut the slice into squares.

This is the lowest in fat I have been able to make and still have a nice sweet flavour. No need for mars bars in this one.

1 cup Marie biscuits, crushed
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup brown sugar
125 g low-fat margarine, melted
2 tablespoons golden syrup
30 g low-fat margarine, melted
400 g low fat sweetened condensed milk
200 g dark cooking chocolate
60 g Copha

Steps:

  • Preheat Oven 180°C.
  • Mix base ingredients and press into bottom of lined or greased slice baking tray.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Mix caramel ingredients in a saucepan and gently heat until thickened - CAREFUL to stir continually as this burns easily.
  • Pour over biscuit base.
  • Bake 10 minutes.
  • Mix chocolate and copha in saucepan gently over heat, again, stirring continually.
  • Pour over slice and place in refrigerator to set.
  • When firm, cut into squares.

ok my kids hate copha and cherries so the only way i could make them a white christmas kind of slice was this way. and they loved it.

4 (60 g) Mars bars
80 g butter
6 cups rice bubbles
1 (200 g) packet gummy frogs (red and green ones)
200 g melted chocolate, to drizzle

Steps:

  • cut up mars bars and put in a microwavable bowl with the butter and melt.
  • (keep an eye on it as it melts quite quickly. u only need a minute or two).
  • cut up frogs ( small pieces) and put with rice bubbles into a bowl.
  • add the mars bars mixture to the rice bubbles and frogs and mix through until.
  • all the rice bubbles are covered.
  • put in the fridge chiller for at least an hour
  • take out and drizzle with melted chocolate.
  • put into fridge for 30 minutes
  • take out and cut into slices.
  • i hope you enjoy this as much as my kids do :)

1 teaspoon margarine
1 tablespoon honey
4 cups rice bubbles
200 g baking chocolate

Steps:

  • Melt margarine,honey& pre-cut mars bars in microwave safe dish in microwave for about 1 min 30 on 100%.
  • Stir occasionally.
  • Add rice bubbles and press into lamington tray.
  • Melt chocolate and pour over the top.
  • Refrigerate until chocolate sets.
  • When chocolate sets cut into small squares.
