LUBYS PATTIES
I got this recipe from my mother in law. I had never heard of it before but supposedly lubys used to make something like this. We make this once a week in our family and think its delicous.

Steps:
- cook bacon either fry or microwave when cooked crumble into pieces.
- Make 4 hamburger patties season and cook untill thoroughly done.
- Place hamburgers in a baking dish top with cheese, bacon, and onions.
- Pour cup of beef broth over patties.
- Bake at 350 for 10 min or untill cheese is melted and juice is warm.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
LUBY'S CHOPPED STEAK RECIPE
Steps:
- Place the ground beef in a large bowl.
- The first step is to spice up your beef. So for this purpose add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, rosemary, mustard, paprika, and dill weed to your beef bowl.
- Secondly, mix onion and beaten eggs in the beef mixture.
- And finally, in the end, pour in the Worcestershire sauce.
- Knead the beef quite well (properly and gently). Then mix in the crackers to add a bit of crunch. Mix thoroughly.
- Take small portions of the dough. Shape it into half-inch thick patties.
- The next process involves the grilling of your beef.
- Preheat the grill pan, and grill the steaks that you have made in this pan. Grill for at least 6-8 minutes per side. Flip and then grill the other side.
- Serve hot in your platter along with tomato ketchup and garlic mayonnaise.

- Place salmon and juice in large mixing bowl. Discard any bones and skin. Press salmon flat against pan and check for remaining bones. Flake haddock or cod and add to salmon. Add the potatoes and onions. Add the eggs, paprika, and crackers; mix well. Mold into 4 1/2 ounce portions. Dust croquettes in flour. Whip eggs and buttermilk with a fork until well- mixed. Dip the croquettes in mixture. Place them into crackers and fluff crackers around the salmon. Avoid pressing the crumbs into the croquettes. Deep fry at 300 degrees for 7 mins.
