Steps:
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- Stir in lime peel and juice.
- Add ice-cream by spoonfuls, stirring until melted.
- Chill in the fridge until mixture mounds.
- Spoon into the baked and cooled pie shell.
- Chill in the fridge until firm.
- Decorate with whipped cream and marachino cherries, if desired.

- 1. In medium bowl dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in lime juice. Add ice cream, by spoonfuls, stirring until melted. Pour into crust.2. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or until set. Spread whipped topping over gelatin layer. Garnish as desired. Store in refrigerator.*NOTE: May substitute lemon gelatin and lemon juice for lime gelatin and lime juice. Stir in 1/2 teaspoong grated lemon peel, if desired.
