Number Of Ingredients 3

1 Jjapaghetti ((Korean instant black noodles))
1 Neoguri ((Korean instant spicy seafood udon noodles))
4 cups water

Steps:

  • Boil the water in a pot on medium high heat.
  • Once the water is boiling, add the Jjapaghetti noodles, Neoguri noodles and dried vegetable flakes from both packets in the pot.
  • Boil it until the noodles are cooked, about 2-3 mins. During this time, mix the noodles well by lifting and dropping them a couple of times.
  • Drain the water but leave about 6 tbsp worth of water. Then add the whole packet of Jjapaghetti powder soup sauce, 1/3 packet of Neoguri powder soup sauce and olive oil from the Jjapaghetti sauce. Mix them well. (If you want more spiciness, you could increase the amount of Neoguri powder soup sauce.)
  • Serve.

lthough we are big fans of the spicy Shin-ramen noodles
Neoguri instant noodles have a unique
seafood flavor with slightly larger noodles that make for a good meal. Today we decided to make it a little more "seafoody" by adding mussels to the mix and letting it boil longer for a deeper broth.

Steps:

  • 1. Add mussels and sauce packets into boiling water. Let boil with mussels about 5 minutes to cook and deepen the broth. If using fresh mussels, wait until they open and discard closed mussels. 2. Include the noodles and cook for a 2, 3 minutes. Add the beaten egg while stirring noodles in a circular motion for even, flaky egg drops. If wanting a poached egg, carefully add the egg off to the side of the pot. 3. Meanwhile, cut scallion into thin pieces along with gim (seaweed) sheet. 4. Transfer to a serving bowl and add the scallions and gim (seaweed).

RAMEN NOODLE STIR-FRY

Ramen Noodle Stir-Fry image

This mildly flavored ramen noodle stir-fry combines tender strips of chicken with vegetables and popular ramen noodles. I came up with this ramen noodle recipe when I wanted a quick-fix meal for myself. Sometimes I change the vegetables or substitute ground turkey for the chicken. -Dawn Boothe, Lynn Haven, Florida
