Number Of Ingredients 23

Sauce:
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 Tbls. Brown Sugar
1 Tbls. Minced Onion
2 Tsp. Worcestershire
1 1/2 Tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Dry Mustard
1/4 Tsp. Pepper
3 drops Tabasco
Few grains Cayenne Pepper
Meatballs:
3/4 Lb. Ground Round Beef
3/4 C. Fine Bread Crumbs
3/4 Tsp. Salt
1/2 Tsp. Pepper
1/2 Tsp. Accent
1 1/2 Tbls. Minced Onion
1/2 Tsp. Horseradish
3 Drops Tabasco
2 Eggs, Beaten
1 Tbls. Real Butter (I like Land-O-Lakes)

Steps:

  • Mix sauce ingredients together in bowl and set aside. Mix all meatball ingredients and shape into 3/4" balls. Melt butter in chafing dish brazier over direct heat. Add meatballs and brown, shaking brazier frequently to produce even browning and to keep balls round. Pour off fat, pour sauce over meatballs and cover. Cook 10 minutes, shaking occasionally. Place over pan of simmering water to keep hot. Provide wooden toothpicks to spear meatballs. Yield - 3 dozen meatballs.

Number Of Ingredients 19

MEATBALLS
1 1/2 lb ground hamburger
3/4 c oatmeal, uncooked
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 Tbsp finely chopped onion
1 large egg
1/2 c milk
SAUCE
1/4 c finely chopped onion
1 Tbsp garlic salt
1 Tbsp marjoram powder
3 Tbsp vinegar
1/4 c sugar
4 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp pepperika
1/2 tsp pepper
1 bottle 14 oz ketchup
1/4 c water (pour into ketchupbottle and shake out rest of ketchup)

Steps:

  • 1. pre-heat oven to *350. In a large bowel mix together all the ingredients for the meat balls, shape into small meatballs(very small like cocktail sized) place in the oven on a cookie sheet. Brown on each side, turn once,while cooking at *350 til golden brown.
  • 2. Sauce- In a large (I use a 5 quart)saucepan, mix all ingredients and simmer till thickened, Add meatballs and simmer for about 15 more min.

1 pound of ground beef
1 pouch Lipton Onion Soup & Dip Mix
¼ cup sour cream
¼ cup crushed nacho chips
1 - 2 Tablespoon chopped jalapeno peppers or hot red peppers
¼ tsp. chili powder
Salsa dipping sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350º F. In medium bowl combine ground beef, soup mix, sour cream, crushed nacho chips, jalapeno peppers and chili powder. Shape into 1 inch meatballs. Place on a baking sheet and cook for 10 - 15 minutes or until brown, turning occasionally. Serve warm with Salsa sauce. Makes 30 meatballs.
