- Combine all ingredients in a large kettle; bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove cloves and cinnamon stick. Serve warm.

THE BEST CRANBERRY CIDER RECIPE
Steps:
- Add water into a large 4 quart saucepan along with the fresh cranberries, cinnamon sticks and cloves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and then turn the heat down to low and simmer for 25 minutes.
- Strain the cranberries, cinnamon sticks, and cloves from the mixture. Then mix in the sugar, orange juice, and apple juice (optional).
- Enjoy hot, or cool to room temperature and store it in a container in the fridge for later.

- In a 5-qt. slow cooker, combine water, sugar and juices; stir until sugar is dissolved. If desired, place cloves in a double thickness of cheesecloth; bring up corners of cloth and tie with string to form a bag. Add spice bag and Red Hots to slow cooker.
