HONEY MUSTARD DRESSING / DIPPING SAUCE

Honey Mustard Dressing / Dipping Sauce image

Better than store bought and as good as any restaurant honey mustard dressing I've had. Sometimes I'll ad a pinch of cayenne for an added kick when making this as a dipping sauce.

Time 5m

Number Of Ingredients 8

3/4 c prepared mustard (french's)
3/4 c honey
2 Tbsp soy sauce, low sodium or lite
1 c mayonnaise (miracle whip)
1/2 tsp granulated garlic or powder
1 tsp dried dill weed
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne (optional)
1/2 tsp poppy seeds (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. In a small bowl whisk all of the ingredients together until well blended. Refrigerate.
  • 2. This dressing doesn't taste spicy, but after a minute or two you'll feel a little heat at the back of your throat. This is great with fried chicken tenders, and delicious on salads (hot pepper optional.) Recipe can be multiplied as much as needed.
