1 pound chicken breast tenders Freshly ground black pepper 1 egg
1 tablespoon Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup smoked almonds, finely chopped
2 to 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
6 cups mixed baby salad greens
2 oranges, peeled and cut into segments
Orange-Teriyaki-Honey Dressing*

Steps:

  • 1. Season chicken tenders with pepper. 2. Beat egg with teriyaki sauce in shallow bowl until well blended. 3. Place flour in shallow dish. 4. Combine bread crumbs and almonds together in separate shallow dish. 5. Dust both sides of chicken with flour, then dip into egg mixture and finally coat with almond mixture. 6. In 12-inch skillet, heat 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil over medium-high heat. 7. Add chicken and cook 6 to 7 minutes, or until no longer pink in center, turning over once and adding more oil as needed. 8. Divide salad greens among 4 dinner plates.

6 bone-in chicken parts
½ cup butter
1 large onion, chopped
¼ cup honey
¼ cup slivered almonds
¼ cup lemon juice

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Arrange chicken parts in a baking dish.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, and cook onion 5 minutes, until tender. Stir in honey, almonds, and lemon juice, and continue cooking 2 minutes, or until heated through. Pour over the chicken, coating each piece.
  • Cover dish with aluminum foil. Bake chicken 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove foil, and continue baking 30 minutes, until chicken juices run clear.

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
4 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup roasted salted almond
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon cooking oil
salt
garlic powder

Steps:

  • Pound chicken breasts until approx 1/2-3/4 inch thick. Sprinkle with salt and garlic powder.
  • Brown in a heavy pan in 1 tbsp of oil.
  • While this is cooking, melt butter in seperate pan over medium heat and coarse chop almonds (a quick chopper works great for this). Add almonds to butter and saute for 3-5 minutes, or until almond are coated in butter.
  • When chicken is done, drizzle 1 tbsp of honey on each chicken breast.
  • Remove from heat, top with buttered almonds.

3 tablespoons honey, divided
2 teaspoons olive oil, divided
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
4 (4 ounce) chicken breast halves, skinless boneless
3/4 cup chicken broth, low sodium
1/2 cup raisins, golden
1/4 cup white wine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
2 green onions, julienne-cut (optional)
4 whole unshelled almonds, halved (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine 2 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon oil, and vinegar in a medium bowl; stir well.
  • Add chicken, stirring to coat.
  • Cover and marinate in refrigerator 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Combine remaining 1 tablespoon honey, chicken broth, and next 4 ingredients in a small bowl, stir well, and set aside.

  • Bring broth mixture to a boil; stir in 1/4 cup almonds, and cook 4 minutes.
  • Spoon sauce evenly over each chicken breast.
  • Garnish with green onions and unshelled almonds, if desired.
