1/3 cup fat-free sugar-free vanilla yogurt
1/3 cup reduced-fat whipped topping
1/4 teaspoon plus 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
2 medium red apples, chopped
1 large Granny Smith apple, chopped
1/4 cup dried cranberries
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, whipped topping and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Add apples and cranberries; toss to coat. Refrigerate until serving. Sprinkle with walnuts and remaining cinnamon before serving.

2 Honeycrisp apples, cut into bite-size pieces
2 Tbsp. orange juice
2 pkg. (10 oz. each) torn mixed iceberg and romaine lettuce
1 large cucumber, seeded, chopped
1 cup KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing
1/2 cup honey roasted peanuts

Steps:

  • Combine apples and orange juice in small bowl; drain.
  • Toss lettuce with cucumbers and apples in large serving bowl.
  • Add dressing and nuts; toss to coat.

This is a cold salad/side dish recipe that has been served in my in-laws home for Thanksgiving and Christmas since the 1950's.

2 (16 ounce) cans dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
2 large Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and diced
2 stalks celery, diced
1 bunch red globe grapes, halved and seeded
1 ½ cups creamy salad dressing, e.g. Miracle Whip ™

Steps:

  • In a large bowl mix together the kidney beans, celery, and grapes. Stir in the creamy salad dressing a little at a time. Adjust the amount of creamy salad dressing to suit your taste.
