HEARTY SWEET AND TANGY MEATBALLS
These hearty meatballs, boasting a sweet and savory sauce, can be served as an entree or in a hoagie sandwich. Either way, be prepared for compliments.

- In a large bowl, combine the milk, bread and soup mix. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into 1-in. balls; roll in flour. , In a large skillet, brown meatballs in oil, in batches; drain., In a small bowl, combine the sauce ingredients. Add to skillet with meatballs. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink., Serve immediately or cool before placing in a freezer container. Cover and freeze for up to 3 months., To use frozen meatballs:: Completely thaw in the refrigerator. In a large skillet, add meatballs; cover and cook for 10 minutes or until heated through.,

These meatballs are real easy to make & super moist. I like to serve them with a side of steamed rice and broccoli. I usually double up on the ingredients to make more. They're always requested in my home.

- PREHEAT oven to 375ºF. Combine stuffing mix, water, egg and dressing until moistened. Add meat and cheese; mix well.
- Shape into eight 2-inch meatballs.
- PLACE on greased baking sheet; spread with ketchup.
- BAKE 30 minute Or until cooked through.

This flavorful, filling appetizer is similar to Swedish meatballs. They always disappear when I make them for parties.

- In a small skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp; remove to paper towels. Drain, reserving drippings. In a small bowl, dissolve bouillon in boiling water. In a large bowl, combine the egg, 1/4 cup of bouillon, bread crumbs, 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into 1-in. balls., In a large skillet, brown meatballs in 1 tablespoon of reserved bacon drippings; drain. With a slotted spoon, transfer to a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. In the same skillet, saute onions until tender; drain. Place over meatballs. , In a saucepan. combine flour and 2 tablespoons or reserved drippings until smooth. Gradually stir in beer or broth and remaining bouillon. Add the brown sugar, vinegar, thyme and remaining salt. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in browning sauce if desired. Pour over meatballs. Cover and bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Sprinkle with bacon.
