1/3 cup each thin onion slices and green pepper strips
4 slices OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Slow Roasted Roast Beef
1 KRAFT Singles
1 submarine roll (6 inch), partially split
1 Tbsp. MIRACLE WHIP Dressing

Steps:

  • Cook vegetables in small nonstick skillet on medium heat 5 min., stirring occasionally. Add meat; cook and stir 3 min. or until heated through.
  • Spoon meat mixture into center of skillet; top with Singles. Remove skillet from heat. Let stand 2 min. or until Singles is melted.
  • Spread cut sides of roll with dressing; fill with meat mixture.

For a simple yet special supper, try these broiled steak sandwiches. Topped with avocado-horseradish spread and French-fried onions, they're terrific!

1 ripe large avocado, pitted, peeled
1/4 cup chopped tomato
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
1 tablespoon mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 beef flank steak, 3/4 to 1 inch thick (1 lb)
1 teaspoon Montreal steak grill seasoning
4 kaiser rolls, split
8 slices bacon, crisply cooked
1/2 cup French-fried onions (from 2.8-oz can)

Steps:

  • In medium bowl, mash avocado with fork. Stir in tomato, horseradish and mayonnaise until well blended; set aside.
  • Set oven control to broil. In both sides of beef, make cuts about 1/2 inch apart and 1/8 inch deep in diamond pattern. Sprinkle both sides of beef with grill seasoning. Place beef on broiler pan.
  • Broil with top about 4 inches from heat 4 to 5 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until desired doneness. Transfer beef to cutting board; cover with foil and let stand 10 minutes.
  • Thinly slice beef diagonally across grain. Divide beef evenly among roll bottoms. Top each with about 1/4 cup avocado mixture, 2 slices bacon and 2 tablespoons onions. Cover with roll tops.
