HAWAIIAN MEATBALLS & SAUCE
Steps:
- 1] Turn on Broiler. Make sure the oven rack is in the second position and not all the way at the top. 2] Combine Meatball ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Mix well with a clean hand. You can cover the hand with a Ziploc bag if you prefer. 3] When mixed well, roll into 1 - 1.5 inch balls and place on baking sheet. 4] Broil until browned through. It won't take very long. 5] Combine Sauce ingredients in a medium-large pot. Mix well on Low heat. 6] When mixed, turn heat to High and bring to a slight boil. The sauce will thicken very fast. Once it's thick, put it on a Low simmer. Whisk periodically. 7] Remove meatballs. Allow them to sit about 5 minutes and then add them to the sauce. Add Pineapple Chunks. 8] Mix well. Let sit for about 15 minutes on a Low simmer. 9] Remove from heat. Serves 4.
