Pork Chop Hash Brown Casserole is a one pan meal. Seasoned pork chops baked on top of a creamy, cheesy hash brown casserole!

1 tablespoon oil
4 bone-in, center thick cut pork chops
salt, pepper and garlic powder ((equal amounts of each, to taste))
1 cup sour cream
10.75 ounce can cream of celery soup (or cream of chicken)
1/2 cup milk
32 ounce package frozen shredded hash browns, (thawed)
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375F degrees. Then, preheat a large skillet over high heat. Pour in oil.
  • Season both sides of pork chops with salt, freshly ground black pepper and garlic powder.
  • Once skillet is nice and hot, add in pork chops and brown pork chops on both sides in hot oil. You will need to do this in batches. Be sure not to cook pork chops all the way through, they will finish cooking in the oven.

  • Note: you may need to add more oil to the pan while browning the pork chops. Set aside browned pork chops while making hash brown mixture.
  • In a large bowl, combine sour cream, soup and milk.
  • Stir in hash browns and onion.
  • Spread hash brown mixture into an ungreased 9x13-inch baking dish and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Top with pork chops.
  • Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes or until heated through and pork chops are fully cooked. If casserole is getting too brown while cooking, cover with alumiunm foil.
  • Then serve!

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
½ cup melted butter
½ cup chopped onion
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup crushed cornflakes
½ cup melted butter

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

6 center cut pork chops
A few dashes seasoned salt
10 3/4 ounces condensed cream of celery soup (1 can)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground)
24 ounces frozen hash brown potatoes (or O'Brien potatoes, thawed)
4 ounces cheddar cheese (1 cup shredded)
2 small cans French Fried onions (2.8-ounce cans)
Dash garlic powder (or to taste)
1/2 stick butter (2 ounces, cut into small pieces)

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Heat the oven to 350 F.
  • Grease a 9-by-13-by-2-inch baking pan or 2 1/2 to 3-quart baking dish.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the pork chops and sprinkle lightly with seasoned salt. Sear the chops, turning to brown both sides.

½ cup sour cream

1 (16 ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
¾ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
½ (6 ounce) can French-fried onions
¼ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
½ (6 ounce) can French-fried onions

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season pork chops with seasoned salt. Cook pork chops in hot oil until browned completely, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove pork chops to a plate lined with paper towels to drain.
