1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/3 cup onion, diced
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 Tablespoons Ranch seasoning mix
1 cup sliced mushrooms, drained
3 cups shredded Swiss or cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups Bisquick
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 eggs, lightly beaten

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Cook ground beef and onions together in a skillet until cooked through. Drain excess oil if necessary.
  • Return meat to pan and add cream cheese and ranch seasoning. Stir to melt cheese and combine until creamy.
  • Spray a 13 x 9 inch baking dish with nonstick spray and add meat mixture to the bottom.
  • Layer on the mushrooms and 1 1/2 cup of the cheese.
  • Stir together Bisquick, milk, basil, pepper, and eggs until blended. Pour into baking dish.
  • Bake 30 minutes or until a pick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
  • Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake about 2 more minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Cool for about 5 minutes before serving.

1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
2-3 slices thick cut bacon (optional)
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/3 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
1 cup milk
2 eggs
parsley or green onions to top

Steps:

  • Spray a 9 inch pie plate with cooking spray then preheat your oven to 400 °F .
  • Place the ground beef, onion and bacon into a large skillet. Fry until the ground beef is browned, the onions are soft and translucent and the bacon is cooked. Drain the grease and place in the bottom of the prepared pie plate.
  • Sprinkle the cheese on top o the ground beef mixture in an even layer.
  • Whisk together the baking mix, the milk and the eggs until it's as smooth as you can get it ( there will be little lumps, don't worry about that.)
  • Pour over the cheese and ground beef evenly.
  • Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until a knife or toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Remove and cool slightly, then serve.

1 cup milk
4 tablespoons milk
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon italian seasoning
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
8 slices American cheese
grated parmesan cheese
dried parsley
1 lb ground beef, browned
1/2 onion, chopped
16 ounces can tomato sauce
4 ounces can mushrooms, drained
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 bay leaf

Steps:

  • Combine bisquick, eggs, milk and seasonings; stir in Cheddar and Parmesan cheeses and mix well.
  • Spread half of the mixture in a 13x9 inch baking pan; top with Ground Beef Sauce and American cheese.
  • Spread remaining mixture on top; sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley.
  • Bake at 325* for 20 minutes.
  • Ground Beef Sauce:.
  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove and discard bay leaf.

As the title suggests, this was my Grandmother's recipe. I've tweaked the amount of cheese and sour cream depending on what I've got in the fridge and it always turns out great! My mother has suggested this was made up as a way to use up ingredients in the fridge.

1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles
1 cup sour cream
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese
1 large white onion, diced
½ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, or more to taste

Steps:

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease. Mix sugar, salt, garlic salt and tomato sauce into ground beef; simmer until flavors blend, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat, cover skillet, and cool to room temperature.
  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, about 5 minutes. Drain and cool slightly.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • Mix sour cream, cream cheese, and onion in a bowl.

1 jar (16 oz) Old El Paso™ Thick 'n Chunky salsa
8 corn tortillas (6 inch)
1 can (16 oz) Old El Paso™ refried beans
1 1/2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend (6 oz)
1 can (15 oz) Spanish rice
1 cup coarsely crushed tortilla chips

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 11x7-inch (2-quart) baking dish with cooking spray. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir in 1 cup of the salsa; heat about 2 minutes or until hot.
  • Line baking dish with 4 tortillas, overlapping to fit. In medium bowl, stir together refried beans and remaining salsa; spoon over tortillas, and spread evenly. 1 cup milk
2 eggs

1 (16.3 ounce) can refrigerated biscuits
2 pounds ground beef
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning
¾ cup water
1 medium onion, halved and sliced
1 medium red bell pepper, halved and sliced (1 1/2 cups)
½ cup sour cream
½ cup mayonnaise
8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
1 (4 ounce) jar sliced jalapeno peppers, drained

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Place and press biscuit dough into the bottom of the baking pan and halfway up the sides.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned, 15 to 20 minutes. Leave the oven on.
  • Meanwhile, heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook ground beef until browned and crumbly, about 5 minutes. Drain fat. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Transfer cooked meat to a bowl and wipe out the skillet.
  • Add onion and bell peppers to the same skillet and cook over medium heat until slightly tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, 1/2 of the Cheddar cheese, and 1/2 of the onions in a bowl.

6 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup chopped onion
2 cups sliced fresh carrots
1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean)
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded Velveeta

Steps:

  • In a greased 13x9-in. baking dish, layer the potatoes, corn, green pepper, onion and carrots. Crumble beef over vegetables. Pour tomato sauce over top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. , Cover and bake at 350° for 2 hours or until meat is no longer pink and a thermometer reads 160°. Sprinkle with cheese. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving., Freeze option: Before baking, cover and freeze for up to 3 months.
