This Grasshopper Drink Recipe combines ice cream, ice cubes, Creme de Menthe, and Creme de Cocoa to make the perfect creamy dessert cocktails. This is a family favorite and an awesome holiday after-dinner cocktail!

1/3 cup creme de menthe
1/3 cup creme de cocoa
10 - 15 ice cubes
4 cups vanilla ice cream (- two pints)
extra dash of creme de menthe (- to serve)

Steps:

  • In a large blender, combine liqueurs, ice, and half of the ice cream. Pulse until well blended. Add remaining ice cream, and pulse until creamy.
  • Store in a tupperware container with a lid.
  • When ready to serve, scoop (pour, if freshly made) into four glasses and top with another small dash of creme de menthe. Add spoons and chocolate biscuit sticks (optional). Enjoy!

Steps:

  • Place creme de menthe, creme de cacao, and ice cream into a blender. Blend until thick and creamy.
  • Pour into a 12-ounce glass. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Steps:

  • 1. Soften the ice cream in a large bowl. Add whipped topping, creme de menthe and creme de cacao and mix well. Spoon into a freezer container and store in freezer. Serve in goblets. You may add green food coloring to ice cream mixture to give dish desired shade of green. Serves 16

25ml single cream
mint sprig
25g melted chocolate (optional)

Steps:

  • Start by making the garnish. Take a sprig of mint, strip off the leaves at the base and dip the stalk in the melted chocolate, holding the upper leaves gently. Leave to set on a plate or tray.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then pour in the liqueurs and cream. Shake hard until the outside of the cocktail shaker is cold, then strain in to a cocktail glass or small coupe. Garnish with the chocolate-dipped sprig of mint.
