1 cup cranberry juice
1 cup grapefruit juice
1 cup sparkling mineral water
Juice of 1/2 lime

Steps:

  • Combine ingredients in 2 tall glasses, adding 1/2 cup of each juice, 1/2 cup sparkling mineral water, and a squeeze of lime to each glass. Stir, add ice, and serve with a slice of lime.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 cup sugar
8 whole star anise
6 cups ruby-red grapefruit juice, chilled
1/3 cup Campari
2 cups champagne or sparkling wine, chilled

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup water with the sugar and star anise; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until sugar has dissolved. Remove pan from heat; let cool completely.
  • Pour mixture through a fine sieve into a measuring cup (to yield 1 cup); discard star anise. Cover syrup with plastic wrap, and chill.
  • In a large pitcher, combine grapefruit juice, Campari, and chilled syrup. Divide among eight glasses; top with Champagne. Serve immediately.

1 bottle dry sparkling white wine or Champagne

6 thin lemon slices

Steps:

  • In a punch bowl or large pitcher, combine gin and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves, 1 minute. Add grapefruit juice and bottle of sparkling wine; stir to combine. To serve, fill 6 glasses with ice and wine mixture, then garnish with thin lemon slices.
