This soda syrup is reminiscent of Izze® Sparkling Grapefruit drink. Just add plain soda water for a refreshing treat.

1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen concentrated grapefruit juice, thawed
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen white grape juice concentrate, thawed
9 cups chilled club soda

Steps:

  • Mix the grapefruit juice and white grape juice concentrates in a 1-quart pitcher until thoroughly combined. Store mixture in refrigerator. To serve, pour 1/3 cup of concentrate mix into a glass, and mix with 1 cup of cold club soda or sparkling water.

Tart pink grapefruit and seltzer water combine in this refreshing homemade soda from Anton Nocito of P&H Soda and Syrup.Also Try:Cream Soda Syrup, Quince Soda Syrup

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 cups sugar
Zest of 2 pink grapefruits
Juice of 1 pink grapefruit
2 teaspoons lemon juice
Pinch of salt
Ice cubes, for serving
Seltzer water, for serving

Steps:

  • Place sugar, grapefruit zest and juice, lemon juice, and salt in a medium saucepan along with 2 cups water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Remove from heat and let steep for 1 hour. Strain and discard solids. Transfer syrup to an airtight container and keep refrigerated until ready to use, up to 2 weeks. To serve, fill a 16-ounce glass with ice cubes and add 1 1/2 ounces syrup; top with seltzer and stir to combine.

Steps:

  • Combine 2 cups grapefruit juice, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 jalapeno (with seeds) in a medium skillet; cook over medium-high heat until syrupy, about 10 minutes. Let cool, then strain. Add seltzer.
  • For each drink, combine 2 to 4 tablespoons flavored syrup with 1 cup cold seltzer in an ice-filled glass.
