Steps:
- 1. Pour cream over mallows, add chopped dates, and nuts,cherries and crumbs. Mix well.
- 2. When thoroughly mixed, make into rolls of your choice and roll in extra crumbs, or mixture of crumbs and chop fine nuts.
- 3. Wrap in foil or saran wrap and refrige over night. Slice to desired thickness next day and serve as desired.

Steps:
- Combine ½ of the crumbs with dates, marshmallows, nuts, whipped cream and vanilla.
- Place mixture on a large piece of wax paper.
- Shape into a roll about 3" in diameter.
- Coat with remaining graham cracker crumbs.
- Firmly wrap up roll.
- Chill 12 hours or longer.
- Serve in ¾-inch slices topped with whipped cream.

This is an old favorite from the Western chapter of the United States Regional Cookbook, Culinary Arts Institute of Chicago, 1947. Chilling time not included in preparation time.

Steps:
- Roll crackers to fine crumbs; reserve 1/2 cup and mix remaining crumbs with marshmallows, nuts and dates.
- Add cream slowly until mixture is moist enough to hold together.
- Shape into a roll about 2 1/2 inches in diameter; roll in reserved crumbs.
- Wrap tightly in waxed paper and refrigerate at least 12 hours before serving.
- Cut into 1/2" slices and serve with whipped cream.
