2 1/2 cups flour, Sifted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large egg yolks
1 cup butter

Steps:

  • Sift the first 4 ingredients together.
  • Cream butter and extracts together until butter is softened.
  • Add sugar gradually, creaming until fluffy after each addition.
  • Add yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Add dry ingredients in 4ths, beating until just blended.
  • Make balls (1-inch), about 2-inches apart on ungreased sheets.
  • Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

1/4 teas. salt
1 teas. cream of tartar
1 cup butter
1/2 teas. vanilla
1/2 tea. lemon
2 cups sugar
3 egg yolks

Steps:

  • Sift first four ingredients together Cream butter and extracts until butter is soft Add sugar gradually, creaming until fluffy after each addition. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add dry ingredients in fourths to creamed mixture, beating after each addition. Form into balls about 1 inch apart on the baking pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes until cookies are golden

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1/4-1/3 cup oats
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4-1/3 cup light sugar syrup

Steps:

  • pre-heat oven to: 350.
  • Combine all of the dry ingredients in one bowl and all of the wet ingredients in another. Once there all combined pour the wet ingredients in the dry. mix until well formed.
  • Form small balls and place on a well buttered cookie sheet.
  • Cook for 12-17 minutes.
