Number Of Ingredients 7

2-1/4 cups gluten-free all-purpose baking flour
2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
1 cup buttermilk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°. In a large bowl, whisk the first 6 ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add buttermilk; stir just until moistened. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead gently 8-10 times., Pat or roll dough to 3/4-in. thickness; cut with a floured 2-1/2-in. biscuit cutter. Place 2 in. apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 c rice flour
1 Tbsp potato flour
2 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/3 c buttermilk
1 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix together the rice flour, potato flour, sugar, salt and baking soda. Add buttermilk and margarine and mix until well blended. Partially flatten pieces of dough with hand and place on cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
