50g light brown sugar
10g butter
3 tbsp double cream
a sprinkle of ground cinnamon
25g popcorn kernels

Steps:

  • Put the sugar in a small saucepan with 2 tbsp water and dissolve over a gentle heat. Bring to the boil, but don't stir at all. When the sugar is a dark golden caramel colour, whisk in the butter. Remove from the heat and pour in the double cream (stand back as it may spit), stir vigorously, then add the ground cinnamon.
  • Pop the popcorn kernels in a saucepan with a tight-fitting lid for 4 mins, then remove from the heat and pour over the sugar glaze, tossing the popcorn until evenly coated.

1 teaspoon dried orange peel
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Place popcorn in a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. In a small bowl, beat the egg white, sugar, orange peel, cinnamon and salt until well blended. , Pour over popcorn; toss to coat. Bake at 300° for 30-35 minutes, stirring once. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container.

Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
2 (2.8 to 3.0 oz.) bags microwave popcorn, popped
1 cup Jif® Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter or Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
1 cup light corn syrup
3 tbsps. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Steps:

  • HEAT oven to 300 degrees F. Spray rimmed baking sheet with no-stick cooking spray.
  • PLACE popped popcorn in a very large bowl or Dutch oven.
  • COMBINE peanut butter, corn syrup, butter and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat, add vanilla and stir to combine.
  • POUR warm peanut butter mixture over popcorn, stirring gently to combine. When all popcorn appears evenly coated with peanut butter mixture, spread evenly on prepared baking sheet.
  • BAKE 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven and allow to cool. May be stored in airtight container for up to one week.

1/2 c light brown sugar or granulated sugar
1 pkg jell-o - any flavor

Steps:

  • 1. Place popped corn into a large bowl, Heat butter and syrup in a small sauce pan over low heat. Stir in brown sugar, and Jell-o; bring to a boil over medium heat. reduce heat to low and gently simmer for 5 minutes. Pour syrup over popcorn, tossing to coat.

2 Tbsp. multi-colored sprinkles

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 300°F.
  • Line 15x10x1-inch pan with foil; spray with cooking spray. Combine popcorn and pretzels in large bowl.
  • Cook butter, half-and-half and corn syrup in saucepan on medium heat until butter is melted, stirring frequently. Add sugar and dry gelatin mix; cook and stir 2 min. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Simmer on low heat 5 min., stirring frequently. Pour over popcorn mixture; toss until evenly coated. Spoon into prepared pan; use 2 forks to spread into even layer.
  • Bake 10 min.; top with sprinkles. Cool completely. Break into small pieces.

I came up with this recipe for a friend that needed a way to make kettle corn out of already popped corn.

2 Tbsp light corn syrup
1/2 c sugar
2 Tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
6-7 c popped corn

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 200
  • 2. In a small saucepan add corn syrup, sugar, butter and salt. Cook on med hi heat until boiling for 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved.
  • 3. Meanwhile place popcorn in a large baking dish like a lasagna pan.
  • 4. Once syrup is done, pour over popcorn and mix with a spoon until it's spread out.
  • 5. Bake for 15 minutes stirring every 5 minutes. Remove from oven and stir once more and let cool. Enjoy!
