Steps:

  • In a large skillet, combine the ingredients and cook on medium high heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until glaze starts to simmer and turns foams.
  • Spread onto a greased baking sheet, separating slightly with a fork; cool completely.

1 can (11.5 oz.) PLANTERS Mixed Nuts
2 Tbsp. honey
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)

Steps:

  • Cook all ingredients in skillet on medium-high heat 2 to 3 min. or until glaze starts to simmer and turn foamy, stirring constantly.
  • Spread onto baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray, separating nuts slightly with fork. Cool completely.

This is one I've been making at Christmas for many years. It always goes into the goodie baskets I give to friends.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 Tbsp butter
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c almonds
1/2 c pecan halves
1/2 c cashews, unsalted
1/2 tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • 1. line a baking sheet with foil. Grease the foil and set aside.
  • 2. Melt butter and sugar in heavy skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is a golden color.
  • 3. Add nuts and stir until nuts are coated.
  • 4. Scoot nuts to one side. Remove from heat. Add vanilla directly to the nuts being careful as the vanilla may splatter if it hits the skillet.
  • 5. Return to heat and stir until all nuts are completely covered.
  • 6. Spread cooked nut mixture onto prepared baking sheet. Cool completely before breaking nuts apart. Store in an airtight container.
