GAME DAY MEATBALLS

Another recipe I got from my sister...she usually makes this at our family gatherings. I like to make it for New Years.

Provided by Sherry Word @msword

Categories     Meat Appetizers

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 jar(s) (16 ounce) grape jelly
1 - (12 ounce) bottle heinz® chili sauce
1 - (2 pound) bag frozen, pre-cooked, cocktail-size meatballs.
- remember to thaw out meatballs before cooking

Steps:

  • Combine sauces in a large saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring until smooth. Add thawed meatballs. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until meatballs are heated through, stirring occasionally. If you have more time you can cook them in a slow cooker, just combine sauces and pour over meatballs. Cover and cook 4 hours on HIGH.
  • I sometimes use the Little Smokies in place of the meatballs. Both ways are delicious....
