These patties are great dipped in ketchup, mustard, or hot sauce. They are also great as a sandwich.

2 eggs
2 teaspoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
10 tablespoons Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
3 (5 ounce) cans tuna, drained
3 tablespoons diced onion
1 pinch ground black pepper
3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Beat eggs and lemon juice in a bowl; stir in Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs to make a paste. Fold in tuna and onion until well-mixed. Season with black pepper. Shape tuna mixture into eight 1-inch-thick patties.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat; fry patties until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.

I have made this before but never with butter. I made it for dinner tonight with Garlic Butter Noddles cause the pantry was running low at the end of the month. I was talking to me bestie & we came up with this recipe. Was just as yummy. 1/30/12

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 can(s) tuna, packed in water & drained well
4 eggs, beaten
1/3 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
oil, for frying

Steps:

  • 1. Frist open & drian the cans of tuna. break up into flaked pieces & place in a meduim bowl. Add in the salt & pepper. Mix to season.
  • 2. Next beat the eggs, add to the bowl & mix well. Then heat a large or medium frying pan over medium heat with the oil.
  • 3. Then spoon a small ladle spoon full into the frying pan. Fry on both sides until a light golden brown for about 3 mins each side.
