6 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch strips
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 small onion, chopped or 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
7 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 cup sour cream
2 cups seasoned stuffing cubes

Steps:

  • Toss the potatoes and cheese; place in a 5-qt. slow cooker. Combine soup, onion, 4 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper; pour over potato mixture. , Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until potatoes are tender. Stir in sour cream. Toss stuffing cubes and remaining butter; sprinkle over potatoes.

1 bag frozen diced potatoes (32 oz.)
1 cup sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5oz. )
1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 cups cheddar jack cheese (shredded)

Steps:

  • Spray slow cooker with cooking spray (this is optional, but I like to do it.)
  • Put frozen potatoes in a slow cooker.
  • In a bowl combine sour cream, cream of chicken soup and garlic salt and stir to combine. Pour mixture on top of the potatoes.
  • Add cheese to the slow cooker and stir everything together.
  • Turn slow cooker on high and cook for 4 hours, then serve and enjoy

1 (2 pound) package frozen Southern-style hash brown potatoes, thawed
4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 cup chopped yellow onion
1 cup milk
1 pinch seasoned salt, or to taste
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 cup crushed cheese-flavored crackers (such as Cheez-It®), divided

Steps:

1 (32 ounce) package frozen Southern-style hash brown potatoes
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed Cheddar cheese soup
1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
1 (2.8 ounce) can French fried onions, divided

Steps:

  • Grease your slow cooker with cooking spray or shortening. In a large bowl, stir together the hash browns, cheese soup, evaporated milk, and half of the French fried onions. Pour into the slow cooker. Cover, and cook on High for 4 hours, or Low for 8 hours. Top with remaining onions just before serving.
