3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
¼ cup melted butter
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Combine bananas, sugar, egg, and butter together in a bowl. Mix flour and baking soda together in a separate bowl; stir into banana mixture until batter is just mixed. Stir salt into batter. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean, about 1 hour.

This banana bread is one of the easiest recipes I've ever tried and turns out perfectly every time! Feel free to substitute your favorite nuts (like walnuts) or even add in chocolate chips.

3 medium bananas mashed
½ cup mayonnaise (or dressing)
1 egg
1 ½ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup sugar
½ cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350*F.
  • In a bowl mix together mashed bananas, mayo and egg. In a separate bowl combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and pecans
  • Add flour mixture to wet mixture and stir just until combined. Note: The mixture will be very thick, do not over mix
  • Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Remove from pan and allow to cool completely.

This is a recipe from my 5th grade teacher. She was a wonderful cook who had to feed a table full of ranch hands everyday. It's so simple and fail proof, I'll never use another recipe.

2 cups flour
1/2 cup margarine
3 ripe bananas, mashed
3/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda

Steps:

  • Mix sugar and margarine till creamy. Then add eggs and mix well.
  • Add all other ingredients.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour .
  • Also makes beautiful muffins (12).

Easy no fail Banana Bread image

This is the easiest recipe I ever developed for Banana Bread, just mix and bake! The best part is you can eat it as is or top it with my cream cheese frosting!

1 c brown sugar
8 Tbsp butter, softened
2 large egg
3 bananas, ripe
1 Tbsp milk
1 tsp cinnamon
2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Butter a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
  • 2. Cream the sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • 3. In a small bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Mix in the milk and cinnamon. In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • 4. Add the banana mixture to the creamed mixture and stir until combined. Add dry ingredients, mixing just until flour disappears.
  • 5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Set aside to cool on a rack for 15 minutes. Remove bread from pan, invert onto rack and cool completely before slicing.
