I made lots of Easter eggs this year! I was going to make scrambled eggs and they were all hard-boiled, so this was the result!!

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 - hardboiled eggs, sliced
4 slice(s) bread, lightly toasted
2 slice(s) provolone cheese (or any cheese)
- all-purpose seasoning (i used chef prudhomme's no salt seasoning
- salt to taste
- whole grain mustard (optional)
- butter/cooking spray or oil for pan

Steps:

  • Heat butter, spray or a bit of oil in a cast iron skillet on medium/high. Lightly toast the bread.
  • On one slice of toast, spread mustard (if using), then arrange the sliced egg, sprinkle with seasoning and salt. Cover with cheese. Top with last slice of toast.
  • Place both sandwiches in buttered skillet. Heat for a few minutes until cheese starts to droop, flip sandwiches. Cook until toast is slightly browned.

1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
2 slices white bread
1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
1 slice American cheese

Steps:

  • Crack the egg into a microwave-safe cereal bowl and whisk in the milk. Season with salt and pepper. Cook in the microwave on 100% power for 1 to 2 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • While the egg is cooking, toast the bread. Use a spoon to remove the cooked egg from the bowl and set it on one piece of toast. Top with a slice of cheese and the other piece of toast. Cook in the microwave until cheese is melted, about 15 seconds.
