2 lbs ground turkey cooked, seasoned, drained
3 bags tater tots (6 lbs total)
2 cans cream of mushroom (21 oz total)
2 cans evaporated milk (24 oz total)
2 cans cream of chicken (21 oz total)

Steps:

  • Brown meat, and place in large casserole dish
  • Cover with tater tots
  • Mix soup and milk together in a separate bowl
  • Pour mixture over top of meat and tots
  • Bake at 350º for 1 hour

30 servings tater tots, (1/2 2 lb bags)
16 ounces ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 12 ounce can evaporated milk

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F Add ground beef to a large skillet and use a metal spatula to break it up while browning over medium heat Season with salt and pepper and continue cooking all the way through Once browned, drain the meat with a strainer if need be to remove excess grease Place meat at bottom of a 9x12-inch glass baking dish Cover the meat with the Tater Tots In a mixing bowl, combine both soups with the milk in a separate bowl and mix thoroughly Pour soup mixture over top of the Tater Tots and ground beef Bake for 45 to 60 minutes until golden brown and slightly bubbly

I've seen a few different recipes on this but this seems to be the closest to the original for a smaller family than 20. Feeds a normal family of 4-6 in 9 x 13 pan. I don't know about this recipe but I was disappointed. My husband and I didn't think this was as good as the ingredients sounded like it would be. Oh well!

1 lb ground hamburger meat
1 1/2- 2 lb frozen tator tots
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s) evaporated milk
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
any cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Duggers Hamburger Tater Tots Casserole Instructions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. On your stove, brown the ground meat (turkey or beef). Season according to your family's tastes (salt & pepper, garlic powder, All Season, etc). Drain the fat from the browned meat, and pour it into your 9x13 baking pan. Cover the meat with the still-frozen tater tots, making sure the layer is even. Mix the cans of soup and evaporated milk together. Pour the soup and milk mixture over the top of the casserole. Do not stir. The liquid will drip down on its own while it's baking. (Add cheese if desired) Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes to one hour. You might be tempted to take it out sooner, but if you do, the tater tots will be soggy and/or raw in the middle. Allow to cool for about 8-10 minutes before serving. Serve with a vegetable and a green salad to make a healthy balanced meal.

1 pound ground beef
1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (16 ounce) package frozen tater tots

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Cook and stir ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink and completely browned, 7 to 10 minutes; season with salt and black pepper. Stir cream of mushroom soup into the cooked ground beef; pour the mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Layer tater tots evenly over the ground beef mixture; top with Cheddar cheese.
  • Bake until tater tots are golden brown and hot, 30 to 45 minutes.
