Easy to make low carb pizza crust recipe made with 4 simple ingredients.

2 Cups Grated Mozzarella (divided)
½ Cup Almond Flour (meal)
2 Tbsp Cream Cheese
1 Egg
⅓ Cup Pizza Sauce
Thinly sliced mushrooms, sliced olives, Fresh arugula or basil leaves, to serve

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 200/180C (350-375F) fan-forced and get a 32cm pizza tray or a large sheet pan to have it on hand.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 and 1/2 cup of grated mozzarella cheese with almond meal and cream cheese.
  • Mix well and microwave for 1 minute, or until cheese is melted. Immediately add in the egg and using a silicone spatula or your clean hands stir until everything comes together into a dough form.
  • Compact the dough into a large ball. Place the dough between two pieces of parchment paper and roll out to a 1/4-inch thick circle.
  • Remove the top piece of parchment paper and transfer the crust to the prepared pizza tray. Using a fork, poke a few times to prevent bubbling.
  • Spread pizza sauce all over the crust and top with remaining mozzarella cheese and other toppings of choice.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown on the sides.
  • Once the pizza is done, remove it from the oven. Garnish with fresh arugula or basil leaves, slice and enjoy!

Uses chicken puree as a crust. It tastes close to regular crust, but you have to be careful not to overcook the chicken so it does not dry out. I use alot of sauce to balance it out. This helps alot. You could also try some dark meat, or even ground chicken or beef to raise the moisture level. It is a good way to lower your carb intake and raise the protein, which assists in weight loss and muscle building.

1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts, Cooked
3 eggs
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
2 cups mozzarella cheese, reduced fat
10 ounces tomato sauce, canned
1 small bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup mushroom, sliced
2 ounces black olives, sliced
2 ounces turkey pepperoni, sliced

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  • Boil chicken until cooked.
  • Combine chicken, eggs, parmesan, and spices in a blender and puree until you've got a fairly thick liquid.
  • Coat a pizza pan or cookie sheet and pour mixture into pan spreading so that it's an even thickness.
  • Spread tomato sauce evenly over crust.
  • Add, pepperoni, mozzarella, mushrooms, peppers, onion and olives.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and toppings cooked.

SKILLET LOW CARB PIZZA

Unlike the other low carb pizza recipes posted here on Zaar, this one does NOT use low carb tortillas, pork rinds or soy flour as a base. This recipe sounds a bit strange, but one taste and you will be in low carb heaven. You can top the "pizza" with any toppings you like, but I enjoy it with mushrooms and olives. :) Suitable for induction or very low carb diets due to extremely low carb content. This recipe was posted in a low carb email group I belong to and it's been all the rage amongst the low carbers there.

2 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 dash garlic powder
1 dash italian seasoning (oregano blend)
3 mushrooms, sliced
3 ripe olives, sliced

Steps:

  • In a 10 inch nonstick skillet over medium high heat, spread the cheese to cover the pan. Sprinkle with garlic powder and italian seasoning.
  • When the cheese starts bubbling all over, add the toppings. Make sure not to overload the cheese with toppings, otherwise the pizza won't set.
  • Once the edges of the cheese start to brown, gradually pull the edges from the pan with a spatula. Then when the edges are completely browned/crisp, gentle put your spatula under the entire thing and slide it out and onto a plate.
  • Let it stand a minute to allow the cheese to cool slightly. (letting it rest is important so that it firms up) Then, cut with a pizza cutter or sharp knife into quarters.

4 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 eggs
1/3 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon chives
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning or 1/2 teaspoon pizza seasoning
1/2 teaspoon wet garlic or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup pizza sauce (the lowest carb you can find) or 1/2 cup tomato sauce (the lowest carb you can find)
1 cup mozzarella cheese
pizza toppings, of choice

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Beat together cream cheese and eggs until smooth.
  • Add cream, parmesan, chives, Italian seasoning and garlic.
  • Spray 9X13 pan with cooking spray or oil.
  • Place 2 cups mozzarella cheese in bottom of pan.
  • Pour egg mixture over cheese.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and spread sauce over baked mixture.
  • Add toppings of choice.
  • Cover with remaining mozzerella cheese.
  • Bake until bubbly and brown.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes.

2 lbs ground beef
1 cup wheat bran or 1 cup oat bran
salt
1 (12 ounce) jar your favorite pizza sauce
onion
mushroom
green pepper
olive
cheese, to taste

Steps:

  • Mix hamburger with the bran and spread onto a pizza pan that is lightly greased.
  • Put under broiler 5 minutes.
  • The meat will shrink slightly.
  • Remove and spread on the pizza sauce, toppings and your favorite pizza cheese.
  • Bake 10 to 15 minutes or till cheese is bubbly.
