A quick and tasty tomato sauce made from canned tomatoes and seasoned with Italian herbs and spices. Perfect for any pasta dish.

Steps:
- In large saucepan, heat oil over medium high heat.
- Add onions and cook until translucent, about 2 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, hot pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
- Makes: 31/2-4 cups

- In a saucepan, saute onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat. Make sure it doesn't burn. Add tomatoes, basil, sugar, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to boil and continue to boil 5 minutes or until most of the liquid evaporates. Remove from heat; stir in whipping cream and butter. Reduce heat and simmer 5 more minutes.
