1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning
4 ounces diced green chilies
10 ounces salsa
1 lb Velveeta cheese
1/4 cup onion, chopped
tortilla chips

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients except tortilla chips in a greased slow cooker.
  • Cook on Low 2-3 hours. Serve with tortilla chips!

1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 lb ground chuck
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix (I use Old El paso)
1 (10 ounce) jar medium salsa (I use Chi-Chi's brand)
1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 tablespoon sour cream
1/4 cup red onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced

Steps:

  • In skillet, brown ground chuck in oil and chop finely with a spatula. Add chopped onion and garlic and saute' just long enough to sweat but not brown. Drain.
  • Put meat mixture in crock pot and add all other ingredients. Stir and cover. Heat on "low" for 2-3 hours, stirring after the first hour.
  • Garnish with finely chopped green onion stems, if desired.

1 lb ground beef
1 can(s) chili beans, 14 oz
1 can(s) chopped green chilies, 4.5 oz
8 oz cream cheese (cubed)
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp chili powder (use either mild or hot)

Steps:

  • 1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  • 2. Drain the fat and transfer a Crock Pot.
  • 3. Add all of the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on LOW 1-4 hours or until cheese is melted. (Refer to personal note for further information).
  • 4. Switch to a warm setting and/or leave on LOW and serve with tortilla chips.

1 jar(s) medium salsa
1 jar(s) mild salsa
1 pound(s) ground beef or ground chuck

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef until done and drain off grease. Pour cheddar cheese soup and salsa into crock pot. Stir in ground beef and cover until warm. Serve with nacho chips.
  • You can use whatever type of salsa you prefer from mild to spicey. My granddaughter makes her dip with con queso cheese.

2 pound(s) ground beef
2 package(s) taco seasoning flavoring
1 large can of refried beans
1 large bottle of salsa, i use chuncky
1 large container of sour cream
2 pound(s) velveeta cheese, cubed

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef. Drain well and replace in pan. Add taco seasoning and heat for 3 or 4 minutes.
  • Place taco beef in crockpot, top with velveeta, salsa and refried beans. cook on slow or low until velteeta has melted and it stirs well together. Just before serving, add sour cream. Keep in crockpot to stay warm, my pot has a hold warm button on it and it works well for this.
