I found this recipe in the Pillsbury Best of Bake-Off Cookbook......My family just loves it... :) I hope you will too!

Number Of Ingredients 7

3/4 cup crushed canned French-fried onions
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 whole chicken breast, skinned,boned and cut into 16 pieces.
1 egg, beaten
sesame seeds or poppy seed

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375.
  • Lightly grease cookie sheet.
  • In small bowl, combine french.
  • -friedonions, flour and salt; blend well, Set aside.
  • Seperate dough into 8 triangles.
  • Cut each in half lenghtwise to make 16 triangles.
  • Dip chicken pieces in beaten egg; coat with onion mixture.
  • Place 1 coated piece on wide end of each triangle; roll to opposite point.
  • Place point side down on greased cookie sheet.
  • Brush tops with remaining beaten egg; sprinkle with seasme seed.
  • Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm or cold.

Place point side down on greased cookie sheet. Brush tops with remaining beaten egg sprinkle with sesame seed. Bake at 375°F. for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. This is a yummy recipe that any cheese or casserole lover will adore! It's super easy to make, as most casseroles are. It's also a fun recipe to play around with; you could add vegetables (broccoli might be nice) or bacon. Just have fun with it!

3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
salt and ground black pepper to taste
2 (8 ounce) packages crescent roll dough, unrolled and divided into triangles
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat a large skillet over medium heat; pan-fry chicken until no longer pink in the center, about 10 minutes per side. Shred chicken.
  • Spread chicken over crescent roll triangles. Roll triangles, starting with the wider end, around chicken. Arrange rolls on prepared baking dish with the seam sides down. Place rolls into prepared baking dish.
  • Mix cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, milk, and Cheddar cheese in a bowl; pour mixture over crescent rolls.
  • Bake in preheated oven until bubbly and rolls are golden brown, about 40 minutes.

"Collecting cookbooks from area churches is my hobby, and this recipe was one of my discoveries," says Rena Laska of Bancroft, Wisconsin. "I made some changes to suit my family's tastes." The cheesy chicken dish comes together easily with a tube of refrigerated rolls.

1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 cup shredded cooked chicken
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
2/3 cup condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1/2 cup milk

Steps:

  • Separate crescent dough into eight triangles. Combine the chicken and 2 tablespoons cheese; place about 2 tablespoonfuls on the wide end of each triangle. Roll up and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown., Meanwhile, in a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, combine soup, milk and remaining cheese. Cook until heated through and cheese is melted. Serve over crescents.
