3 to 3.5 pound chicken legs or drumsticks
1 cup jam or jelly, see notes
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons minced garlic (or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)

Steps:

  • Place the chicken legs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • In a small bowl add the jam or jelly, ketchup, soy sauce, and garlic. Mix to combine well.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken legs.
  • Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 5-6 or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Enjoy the chicken hot.

2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breast (trimmed)
21 oz. Cream of Chicken Soup (two 10.5 oz. cans)
2 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tsp garlic (minced)
salt and pepper (to taste)
8 oz. cream cheese (cubed)

Steps:

  • Spritz the bottom of your slow cooker with non-stick spray and lay chicken breasts at the bottom.
  • In a bowl whisk together the cream of chicken soup, Italian seasoning, garlic and salt and pepper. Pour mixture over the chicken breasts, then top with the cream cheese cubes.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours. Remove chicken and shred with two forks, then return chicken to sauce. Stir to combine. Serve chicken gravy over steamed rice or egg noodles if desired.

1 envelope italian dressing mix
8 chicken legs
2 Tbsp butter
1 medium onion chopped
4 clove garlic minced
10 3/4 oz can cream of chicken soup
8 oz cream cheese softened and cubed
1/4 c chicken stock
buttered cooked egg noodles
parsley for garnish

Steps:

  • 1. Place the chicken legs in slow cooker. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the chicken. Add the butter, onion and garlic. cook on low 5 hours.
  • 2. Mix the soup, cream cheese and chicken stock together. Pour over the chicken and continue to cook 1 more hour
  • 3. Serve over hot buttered noodles and garnish with parsley
