Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies (Gift in a Jar) image

A nice gift for the holidays. Choose a jar (1 quart or 1 liter) with a tight-fitting lid. Those jars with rubber rings and clamp lids are good. Print instructions on a recipe card and attach to the jar.

CRANBERRY HOOTYCREEK COOKIES IN A JAR

Cranberry Hootycreek Cookies in a Jar image

I found this online while searching cookies in jar recipes. I tried it out and it was really tasty and different. I gave these as small gifts during the holidays and everyone seemed to love them. EDITED TO ADD: A reviewer noted that if you are making these cookies for yourself and double the recipe, the ingredients in the instructions DO NOT change. :)

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
