Bite into crunchy white chocolate and cherry drops made using corn Chex® cereal - a tasty dessert.

2 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
2 cups tiny fish-shaped pretzels
2 cups dry-roasted peanuts
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 package (3 ounces) dried cherries ( 2/3 cup)
1 bag (12 ounces) white baking chips (2 cups)
1/4 cup half-and-half
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Steps:

  • Toss cereal, pretzels, peanuts, marshmallows and cherries in large bowl.
  • Heat baking chips and half-and-half in 2-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently, until chips are melted. Stir in almond extract.
  • Pour melted mixture over dry ingredients. Toss gently until dry ingredients are coated. Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let stand about 1 hour or until set. Store loosely covered up to 1 week.

1 pound white candy coating, coarsely chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 cup chopped peppermint candies or candy canes

Steps:

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment or waxed paper. In a microwave, melt candy coating; stir until smooth. Stir in butter and oil until blended. Stir in candies. Spread to desired thickness on prepared pan., Refrigerate until firm. Break into pieces. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

5 cups Cheerios toasted oat cereal
5 cups bite size crispy toasted corn cereal
2 cups peanuts
16 ounces M&M's
2 (12 ounce) packages white chocolate chips
3 tablespoons oil

Steps:

  • Combine first 5 ingredients in a very large bowl, set aside.
  • Melt chocolate chips with oil in a double boiler, stir until smooth --.
  • Pour over cereal mixture, mix well.
  • Spread mixture equally onto 3 wax paper lined baking sheets.
  • Allow to cool --.
