- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a bread pan with non stick spray. In the bowl of your mixer add the butter and granulated sugar and beat until well combined. Add eggs one at a time and mix until light and fluffy. In a measuring cup mix the buttermilk and vanilla extract; set aside. In a bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together. Add the buttermilk milk and flour mixture half a time to the mixer and mix until well incorporated. Pour 1/3 of the batter in the bread pan and sprinkle with 1/3 of the brown sugar mixture, repeat with remaining batter and sprinkle remaining brown sugar mixture over the top.

- In a bowl, combine the flour, 1°C sugar, baking powder, 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the eggs, buttermilk, oil and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients just until smooth.
- Pour half the batter into a greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. In a small bowl, combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon; stir in butter. Drizzle half over batter; cut through with a knife to swirl. Top with remaining batter. Drizzle with remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture; swirl with a knife.
- Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.

- Roll dough into a 14x11-in. rectangle on a large greased baking sheet. Spread filling down center third of rectangle. (If using Fruity Cream Cheese Filling, first spread cream cheese mixture over dough, then top with jam.) On each long side, cut 1-in. strips about 3 in. into center. Starting at one end, fold alternately strips at an angle across filling (see photo at far right). Pinch ends to seal. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes. Bake at 375° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan to a wire rack to cool.

- In a bowl, cream sugar and 1/2 cup butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add baking soda to buttermilk; add to creamed mixture. Mix in flour and salt. Stir in apples, nuts and raisins. Pour into two greased and floured 8x4-in. loaf pans. Melt remaining butter; drizzle over loaves. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over loaves. Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes. Let cool in pans for 10 minutes. Turn out on a wire rack to cool. Slice in 1-1/2-in. pieces to serve.
