1 ripe banana
1 pinch ground cinnamon, or to taste
2 tablespoons whipped cream, or more to taste
1 tablespoon caramel topping

Steps:

  • Combine milk, ice cream, banana, and cinnamon in a blender; blend on low speed until consistency of a thick milkshake. Pour milkshake into a cup and top with whipped cream and drizzled caramel.

3 tablespoons agave nectar

Based on a recipe from Carol Alt's cookbook, The Raw 50. She says in its introduction, ".... As Dr. Gonzalez notes in his foreword, germinated almonds may help protect against cancer. (They supposedly have estrogen blockers.) That is why I eat them and include them in every meal I can." Almond milk is a non-dairy milk made out of almonds; you can find ready-made almond milk in your grocer's natural foods section. I have made this with purchased almond milk; recipe #356213 is a delicious homemade almond milk! :)

1 vanilla beans or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
