My Creamy Jalapeno Ranch Dip recipe is a delicious, slightly spicy, slightly tangy chip dip that takes just minutes to make!

2 cups sour cream
1 packet dry ranch mix
1 jalapeno (seeds and membranes removed)
1 tablespoon cilantro
2 teaspoons lime juice

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as desired, adding salt if needed.
  • Pour into a small bowl and serve chilled with tortilla chips.
  • Garnish with a few springs of fresh cilantro, if desired.

This stuff is habit-forming! This is the best copycat recipe I've found, as it uses homemade ranch dressing; bottled ranch just doesn't taste very good, in this dip.

1/3 cup buttermilk (or more, to desired consistency)
1/3 cup chopped jalapeno
1/3 cup green chili
1/3 cup cilantro leaf
1 (1 ounce) packet dry ranch dressing mix

  • Serve with tortilla chips, or as a salad dressing.

1 package ranch dressing mix
1/3 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup sour cream
2/3 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1/2 cup jarred pickled jalapeƱos, liquid removed and reserved
1 1/2 tbsp reserved jalapeno juice
1/2 cup jarred or fresh salsa verde

Steps:

  • Wash your cilantro, remove from the stems, and chop cilantro.
  • Blend ranch mix, buttermilk, sour cream, and mayo in a blender or food processor a little bit at a time until well mixed.
  • Add in remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
  • Refrigerate or serve immediately
