I love to make my BBQ chicken wings this way. My Fiancee hates when I make my chicken wings like this because the meat just falls off the bone but that's why I love them. I think these are sticky and so, so, good.

3 lbs frozen chicken wings
18 ounces barbecue sauce

Steps:

  • Deep fry the chicken wings just until lightly golden and slightly crisp.
  • Drain grease off.
  • Place the chicken wings in the crock pot then pour the BBQ sauce over the wings stirring to coat.
  • Turn the crock pot on low and cook for 6-8 hours.
  • When cooking is done remove the chicken wings from the crock pot and place on a cookie sheet.
  • Preheat an oven to 350°.
  • Coat all the chicken wings with BBQ sauce and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the sauce on the chicken wings is sticky to the touch.

3 lbs chicken wings (about 14-16)
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Cut off and discard wing tips. Cut each wing at joint to make two sections.
  • Place chicken on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 4-5 inches from heat for 15-20 minutes, turning once. Transfer chicken to slow cooker.
  • For sauce, combine bbq sauce, honey, mustard and worcestershire sauce, pour over chicken wings. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1 1/2- 2 hours.
