1 cup chocolate candy
2 ½ cups marshmallow
3 cups puffed rice cereal

Steps:

  • Prepare a square glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Melt marshmallows over medium heat in a nonstick pan. Stir every 30 seconds to avoid burning. (TIP! spray your spatula with nonstick cooking spray to make stirring easier.)
  • Once the marshmallows are melted, add in the rice cereal and chocolates. Stir until fully combined.
  • Stir until fully combined.
  • Scoop the mixture into the sprayed baking dish and flatten with a spatula.
  • Cool for 30 minutes, then cut into squares.
  • Enjoy!

S'mores aren't the only dessert to make around the campfire. Grab your favorite cereal, some fun mix-ins, two big marshmallows and a reusable silicone bag and you're ready for a fun and tasty treat.

1 cup of your favorite cereal
2 tablespoons very soft unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 jumbo or extra-large marshmallows
About 2 tablespoons mix-ins, such as peanut butter chips, rainbow sprinkles or chocolate chips, optional

Steps:

  • Add the cereal and butter to a 15-ounce reusable silicone bag. Toast the marshmallows, add them to the bag and close it partially (do not seal completely). Press and shake the bag to combine the ingredients. Add the mix-ins of choice if using and press in to combine. Press the mixture into a square at the bottom of the bag and let set until firm, 10 to 15 minutes.

Nonstick cooking spray, for the pan
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
One 10-ounce package mini marshmallows
6 cups puffed rice cereal
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 cups freeze-dried raspberries, lightly crushed
1/3 cup heavy cream
4 ounces dark chocolate, chopped

Steps:

  • Spray a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Place a cooling rack on a baking sheet.
  • Heat a large saucepan or Dutch oven over low heat, then add the butter and heat until melted. Add the marshmallows and stir until just melted, then stir in the cereal, salt and 1 cup raspberries until the cereal is coated. Use the cooking spray to spray your hands or a spatula and press the marshmallow mixture into the baking dish in an even layer.
  • Let set up, 15 to 20 minutes, then add the cream and chocolate to a small saucepan. Stir over low heat until the chocolate is completely melted and combined. Remove to a bowl.
  • Cut the treats into 1-inch squares and place on the cooling rack. Dip one corner of each treat into the chocolate, then return to the cooling rack and sprinkle with a little of the remaining raspberries. Let the chocolate cool completely, then serve.

4 tablespoons salted butter, cut into pieces
1 10-ounce bag mini marshmallows
1/2 teaspoon yellow gel food coloring
6 cups crisp rice cereal
Vegetable oil, for your hands
2 orange licorice twists
1 yellow licorice twist
3 tablespoons vanilla frosting
24 mini candy-coated chocolates

Steps:

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted, then stir in the food coloring. Remove from the heat and stir in the cereal. Using oiled hands, form the mixture into 1/2-cup mounds, pressing until smooth. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet, press to flatten the bottoms and let cool.
  • Using kitchen shears, cut the orange licorice into thirty-six 1/4- to 1/2-inch pieces. Cut the yellow licorice into twelve 1/4- to 1/2-inch pieces. Put the frosting in a small resealable plastic bag and snip a corner. Attach the orange licorice to the cereal treats for beaks and feet and the yellow licorice to the tops for feathers, using the frosting to adhere. Attach the chocolate candies for eyes, using the remaining frosting.

6 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus more for buttering the pan
One 10-ounce bag mini marshmallows
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Kosher salt
8 cups puffed chocolate cereal, such as Cocoa Puffs
2 cups crushed pretzels
2 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
1 teaspoon coconut oil

Steps:

  • Line a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with aluminum foil leaving a 2-inch overhang on the two short ends. Lightly coat the foil with butter.
  • Melt the butter in a large pot set over medium heat. Add the marshmallows and cook, stirring occasionally, until the marshmallows melt, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and a pinch of salt and then the cereal and pretzels until well mixed. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and press into an even layer. Set aside at room temperature until cooled and firm, about 30 minutes.
  • Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together in a small microwave safe bowl for 30-second increments in the microwave, stirring, until smooth. Drizzle over the bars, cover and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens, about 15 minutes. Cut into bars.
