1 (8-ounce) can crescent roll sheets
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
5 hot dogs
4 cups beef chili ((I used my own beef chili recipe))

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Lay out the crescent sheets in triangles.
  • Sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly on the triangles of crescent dough, then wrap each triangle around a hot dog.
  • Pour the chili into a 9 inch by 13 inch baking dish.
  • Place the rolled hot dogs on top of the chili in the baking dish, evenly spread out.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Here's what you need: canned chili, refrigerated pizza dough, cheddar cheese sticks, hot dogs, butter, garlic powder, parsley

14 oz canned chili, heated
1 can refrigerated pizza dough
4 cheddar cheese sticks
4 hot dogs, all-beef
1 tablespoon butter
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon parsley

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375˚F (190˚C).
  • Spread chili into a greased 11x7-inch (28 x 18 cm) glass baking dish.
  • Unroll the dough and cut into four even strips.
  • Cut the cheese sticks in half lengthwise.
  • Place a hot dog in the center of a piece of dough. Place each half of the cheese stick on either side of the hot dog.
  • Wrap the dough around the cheese and hot dog, overlapping slightly in the center. Repeat with remaining dough, hot dogs, and cheese.
  • Place the wrapped hot dogs on top of the chili.
  • Bake 15-20 minutes, until the dough is light golden.
  • Add the butter to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high until melted. Stir in the garlic powder and parsley.
  • Brush over the wrapped hot dogs.
  • Enjoy!

1 package (8-1/2 ounces) cornbread/muffin mix
1 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 package (1 pound) hot dogs, halved lengthwise and cut into bite-sized pieces
1 can (15 ounces) chili with beans
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided

Steps:

  • Prepare cornbread batter according to package directions. Spread half the batter into a greased 8-in. square baking dish; set aside. , In a large skillet, saute the green pepper, onion and celery in oil until crisp-tender. Stir in hot dogs; saute until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes longer. Stir in the chili, brown sugar, garlic powder and chili powder; heat through. Stir in 3/4 cup cheese. , Spoon over cornbread batter; top with remaining cornbread batter. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top., Bake, uncovered, at 350° until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 28-32 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

8 hot dogs
8 slices of American cheese or 3/4 cup shredded cheese
1 can refrigerated crescent dough sheet
2 about 2 cans (15.5 oz ea) chili
3 about 3 tablespoons Butter, melted
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
fresh parsley for garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Spread the chili across the bottom of a 9" x 13" pan. Rinse hot dogs and pat dry. Open the can of crescent dough and roll out dough. Cut the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll 1 slice of cheese around 1 hot dog. Roll 1 square of crescent dough around the cheese/hot dog. Repeat for all 8 hot dogs. Gently press the seams of the crescent dough down. Melt butter and then add minced garlic. Place hot dogs in pan. Brush top of dough with the garlic butter. Save remaining garlic butter. Cover with foil and bake for about 25 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking un-covered for about 15 minutes or until tops of dough are golden brown. Brush remaining garlic butter on top of dough and top with parsley. Enjoy!
