FUSION CHICKEN TIKKA PIZZA
Although I believe you should make everything from scratch, this may be an excuse to be lazy. This is a quick way to eat Indian food and it's presented in an exciting fusion-cuisine sort of way, which I just love.

Steps:
- Dust chicken with cayenne until there is a light coating on both pieces.
- Heat oil in a cast iron grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken pieces in the hot pan until slightly charred and no longer pink in the centers, 7 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Ladle tikka sauce evenly over both pieces of naan. Place chicken, onion, and cilantro evenly onto each pizza and top each with white Cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden and toasted, about 10 minutes, checking often to prevent burning. Serve.

Steps:
- Cut chicken into 1 inch cubes, marinate with all these ingredients except oil and leave for an hour. In a skittle take oil and fry marinated chicken for 5 minute on medium flame. Then reduce heat to low and let it cook about 10 minute covered until it dries.
- Mix salt to flour then add all ingredients pour water on it and knead to make smooth dough about 5 to 7 minutes. Let the dough rest in an oiled bowl, covered with slightly wet kitchen towel for an hour,until double in size. After one hour pat the dough and roll into a big circle.
- Leave for 15 minute then bake for 15 minute at 180c or until dough starts changing color, take out from oven,spread pizza sauce & top with cheddar, mozzarella, onion, tomatoes, coriander leaves, capsicum and ChickenTikka. One hand full of mozzarella on the top & bake again at 180c for 15 minute or until cheese starts browning. Keep an eye on bottom of pizza crust donât let it dark brown. If it is happening then just place a piece of aluminum foil under the pizza pan. You have to adjust heat. After baking immediatly brush crust sides with melted butter.
CHICKEN TIKKA PIZZA
My 1st ever attempt of making homemade pizza base Allhamdulilah....learnt in my aunty's classes :) Its very simple base recipe & masha Allah result was superb :)

- For Pizza Base :
- Combine plain flour, yeast, sugar, salt in a large bowl. Add oil & mix it well. Add warm water (IT SHOULD BE WARM NOT HOT) & make soft dough. Turn the dough out onto floured surface; knead it for 5 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Add extra flour as needed to keep from sticking to hands and surface.
- Place the dough in a large bowl greased with oil. Cover the bowl with towel or in a big plastic bag & let it rise in warm place for about 45-50 minutes.
- For pizza Sauce : Blanch tomatoes in boiling water for 5 mins on slow flame, peel & chop. Grind the chopped tomatoes with garlic paste & chopped onion till it become paste.
- In a pan add butter, add tomato paste(which we make now), chilli powder, salt, sugar, oregano or dry herbs, tomato ketchup and cook till it becomes thick.
- Chicken Tikka topping : Cut the chicken into small pieces, clean & wash it. Marinate the chicken in ginger paste, garlic paste ,green chilli paste, curd, tandoori masala, tandoori colour ,salt ,lemon juice for 30 mins.
- Heat butter in pan, cook chicken till tender & dry.
- After 50 mins dough should be double in bulk. Punch down the dough & divide into 2 parts and shape to fit a lightly greased pizza pan of medium size which has been greased with butter. Prick it with fork.
- Apply the pizza sauce. , spread the shredded mozzarella cheese; fill your favourite fillings and topping. This is my 1st pizza of homemade pizza base so I used little toppings.
- I used only pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese and shredded tandoori chicken.
- Pre heat the oven @ 200 degree for 15 mins
- Bake it for 20 mins at 200 deg.
- Tip : 1st marinate the chicken & then make the dough. so by the time dough is resting you prepare the pizza sauce & after that cook the chicken.
