4 frozen breaded chicken tenders (about 1-1/2 ounces each)
1 tube (13.8 ounces) refrigerated pizza crust
8 slices part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Marinara sauce, warmed

Steps:

  • Prepare chicken tenders according to package directions. Preheat oven to 400°. Unroll pizza dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Layer with mozzarella, chicken tenders and Parmesan to within 1/2 in. of edges. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a short side; pinch seam to seal and tuck ends under. Combine olive oil, garlic powder, oregano and pepper; brush over top., Bake until crust is dark golden brown, 18-22 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp olive or vegetable oil
2 c shredded mozzarella cheese (about 8oz.)
1 jar(s) (28oz.) ragu chunky garden style pasta sauce, divided
2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
1 lb fresh or thawed frozen bread dough

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and brown chicken. Remove chicken from skillet and let cool; pull into large shreds.
  • 2. In medium bowl, combine chicken, mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup ragu chunky gardenstyle pasta sauce, parmesan cheese and parsley; set aside.
  • 3. On greased jelly-roll pan, press dough to form 12x10 rectangle. Arrange chicken mixture down center of dough. Cover filling, bringing one long side into center, then overlap with the other long side; pinch seam to seal. Fold in ends and pinch to seal.
  • 4. Arrange on pan, seam side down. Gently press in sides to form 12x4 inch loaf. Bake 35 minutes or until dough is cooked and golden. Cut stromboli into slices. Heat the remaining pasta sauce and serve with stromboli. Makes 6 servings.

1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tsp. olive oil
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 8 oz.)
1 jar (1 lb. 8 oz.) Ragu® Robusto!® Pasta Sauce
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley leaves (optional)
1 lb. fresh or frozen thawed bread dough

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Season chicken, if desired, with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until thoroughly cooked. Remove chicken from skillet and cool slightly; shred chicken.
  • Combine cooked chicken, mozzarella, 1/2 cup Pasta Sauce, Parmesan cheese and parsley in medium bowl; set aside.
  • Press dough to form 10 x 12-inch rectangle on lightly floured surface. Arrange chicken mixture down center of dough. Cover filling bringing one long side into center, then overlap with the other long side; pinch seam to seal. Fold in ends and pinch to seal. Arrange on cookie sheet, seam side down. Gently press in sides to form 12 x 4-inch loaf.
  • Bake 35 minutes or until dough is cooked and golden. Cut stromboli into slices and serve with remaining Pasta Sauce, heated.
