Portillos is an awesomely great fast food diner in Chicago that has the Yummiest food but, the BEST CHOCOLATE Cake EVERRRR!!!!! Here is a replica that is just as good & Ohhh so easy!

Steps:
- 1. PRE-HEAT OVEN 350 Grease 2 9" cake pans, beat all ingred. for 4 min. till smooth, pour in pans & bake 30-32min. Cool on wire rack for a good 1hr.,Dust off any crumbs around cakes for a more smoother frosting.
- 2. THIS IS THE MOST MOIST CAKE EVER!!
PORTILLO'S CHOCOLATE CAKE RECIPE
Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease (2) 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, add cake mix, eggs, water, and mayonnaise. Mix on low speed for 30 seconds. Increase speed to high and mix for 5 minutes.
- Pour the batter evenly over the two cake pans.
- Bake for 30 to 32 minutes. Check for doneness using a toothpick. Insert a toothpick in the middle of the cake - if it comes out clean, it's time to get it out of the oven.
- Let the cakes rest for 5 minutes, then remove them from the pans. Let them cool on a wiring rack for an hour.
- Place one cake on a plate and spread frosting on top. Top it with the other cake and coat the top and sides with the rest of the frosting. Decorate the cake as desired. Enjoy!

Careful... this one causes cravings! This cake recipe is super light, moist, and not too sweet. It is a perfect base to dump the best frosting, fudge, or chocolate all over it. It makes great cupcakes too! The recipe was labeled as a copycat for Portillo's (this ones all over the net so I can't credit anyone). Whether it is a good copy I'm not sure... but it makes a darn good cake.
