1 (3 ounce) package cherry gelatin
1 1/4 cups hot water
1 cup sweet cherries
1 pint cherry ice cream
1 (8 inch) baked pie shells

Steps:

  • Dissolve gelatin in hot water in a 2 quart saucepan.
  • Add cherries.
  • Add ice cream in pieces and stir until melted.
  • Chill until thickened, but not set, about 10 to 20 minutes.
  • Turn into pie shell.
  • Chill until firm, about 15 to 25 minutes.

2 tablespoons cold water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
3/4 cup sour cream
1 cup non-dairy frozen whipped topping
1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling, divided
1 Keebler® Ready Crust® graham cracker pie crust

Steps:

  • 1. In small saucepan combine water and lemon juice. Sprinkle gelatin over water mixture. Let stand for 5 minuteS. Cook and stir over low heat until gelatin dissolves. Set aside.2. In small mixing bowl beat cream cheese on medium speed of electric mixer until fluffy. Add sugar, vanilla and lemon peel. Beat until combined. Gradually beat gelatin mixture into cream cheese mixture. Beat in sour cream. Fold in whipped topping.3. Spoon 1 cup of pie filling into crust. Spread cream cheese mixture on top. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or until set.4. Top with remaining pie filling. Garnish as desired. Store in refrigerator.*NOTE: Soften cream cheese in microwave at high for 15 to 20 seconds.
